The Coast Guard Auxiliary's four CORNERSTONES:
Member Services
To support Auxiliary personnel within our flotilla and support the Coast Guard in personnel and recruiting missions.
Recreational Boating Safety
To promote knowledge and skill of the recreational boater. We also work in conjunction with the state of California and local governments to help improve our unique and beautiful waterways.
Support to the Coast Guard and States
We support our local Coast Guard detachment in operational activities and in a variety of administrative functions.
Fellowship
Our membership is a great group of friends sharing a similar goal. We have a great time promoting boating safety.  We want to keep our pristine waters safe and fun for everyone, including ourselves. We enjoy our social activities but the Auxiliary is not a social organization. Rather we are a primarily a SERVICE ORGANIZATION providing needed support to the Coast Guard and the Boating Public.
